Which methods are included?
Niak provides electrotherapy, high-power laser, magnetic therapy, shockwave therapy, TECAR, acupuncture and continuous passive motion. Having a device does not mean it is necessary or effective for every pain condition. Selection must follow diagnosis and individual assessment.
Evidence differs between conditions
Use and supporting evidence depend on the specific condition. For example, a recognised low-back-pain guideline does not recommend routine use of acupuncture, surface electrical stimulation or ultrasound. Results cannot be generalised to every pain condition or disease.
What is checked before use?
Your therapist should explain the purpose, possible benefit and limits of the method and check contraindications. Share your medical history and any implanted devices. Complementary methods should accompany an active rehabilitation plan tailored to your condition.

- 1Review the condition and evidence
- 2Explain benefits and limitations
- 3Choose safely for the individual
